Membership types, costs and payments

What is a Basic Member?

When you sign up to the website, you automatically become a Basic Member and are able to send and receive messages to and from Premium Members.

As a Basic Member however, you are unable to contact other Basic Members until you upgrade your account.  Some people prefer to upgrade to premium membership, allowing them to find a flatmate/room quicker. This is obviously optional and many people do enjoy success as a Basic Member.

Basic Members of the website are indicated by a silver star next to their name on their advert.

What is a Premium Member?

Premium Members are able to contact anyone on the website, without limitation and are indicated throughout the website by having a gold star next to their name in their advert.

We would advise landlords to become Premium Members as this will open up the channels for you to contact people and for them to be able to contact you.

How do I become a Premium Member?

Beneath your adverts, you will see a button giving you the option to click through to the upgrade pages.

There are 4 upgrade options which are dependant on how long you need to use the site for, ranging from 10 days to 1 year.  Simply, select which option is best for you, choose your preferred payment option and click “Pay”

As soon as you have paid, you will have full membership access to the website.

I don’t have a credit card, do you accept other payment methods?

As well as accepting payment from credit and debit cards, you can also pay via PayPal which allows you to transfer money from you bank to make the payment.  Unfortunately, we do not accept cash, cheques or card payments over the telephone.
